Renovation necesary
In 2007 the decision was made to increase assembly production using energy technology to renovate Plant II in Kreutern and to expand with a new production hall. Construction was set to begin in the summer of 2008 after a 12 month project planning time. Following nine months of construction, the premises could be occupied in March 2009. In keeping with the most modern aspects of design on 1250 m² , there now extends an automatic production area for handling and processing sheet metal.
This allows an expansion of the product spectrum; shorter delivery times and emphasizes the self-imposed requirement of expertise in innovative filtration technology and special machine construction. Machinery for solid / liquid separation is the central concern of ABZ. The new production hall strengthens ABZ’s position in the market.
Lead and innovate
"The renovation and expansion of Plant II was the logical consequence in the implementation of our growth strategy," said Franz Zierler, CEO of ABZ Zierler. "The first and foremost purpose for the extension is to create new production space and thus cover the complete range of sheet metal production."
With the use of modern technology - variable refrigerant flow using heat pump technology, spray pickle with recirculation of the wash water, most advanced welding smoke extraction - ABZ demonstrates that energy-efficient design and innovative implementation are not contradictory.
