ABZ Zierler once again proved its process engineering expertise in the implementation of material cycles and together with a client was able to successfully put a project into operation.
Inadequate solid loading in the wastewater flow at wastewater treatment plants results in insufficient cleansing, which in turn causes increased operating time and cost.
Together with OIKOS Environmental Management Ltd, a concept for increasing the solid loading in the flow in the existing wastewater treatment plant was designed and implemented for AGRU Surface Technology. With this new development, the working hours of the chamber filter presses are significantly reduced.
In the experimental phase the Micro-Rotary Filter (MDF) was also examined in action.
Other advantages of ABZ-Zierler’s new Micro-Rotary Filter (MDF):
- improved treatment performance in settling tanks
- reduction of flocculants by 60%
- CSB reduction of over 50%
- improved cleansing effect in settled and filtered materials
"We certify the excellent overall water management and efficient cleansing performance of ABZ Zierler’s new Micro-Rotary Filter (MDF)." Ing Kreil Huber of OIKOS Environmental Management Ltd said.
