High pressure water cycle starting situation/targets

The customer for this project was a well known supplier in the paper manufacturing industry.


The water necessary from the paper-making machine rollers to be treated the feeding of high-pressure pumps, needed for the cleaning procedure of was taken as fresh water out of the public supply network.

The total water consumption in the year amounted to approx. 22,000 m ³. The disposal of the wastewater was made by the public sewer system.

Wastewater treatment
The goal of the project was it to lower fresh water consumption of 2.000 m ³ /a by an appropriate treatment of wastewater fresh


The system was projected, manufactured and installed as planned in April 2004.
Starting May 2004 a 4-week test run took place and since June 2004 the system has been working to our customer’s fullest satisfaction.

The necessary parameters have been held, the planned annual max. fresh water has probably even fallen below 2000m ³ /a .
