25 Years ABZ Zierler
Success is a journey and not a destination

Our 25th anniversary celebration, to which over 140 guests were invited, stood under this motto. The workshop in Jainzen was splendidly ornamented and affectionately decorated, and thus converted into a meeting and exhibition place.

The founder of the firm; Franz Zierler impressively reviewed the most important stages of development adding humorous anecdotes for the guests, business partners and friends.

What began 25 years ago as small locksmith’s enterprise, is today a high-tech enterprise with 22 employees, in which research and development are foremost.
It has 19 patents, 2 of which are world patents. The machines and components developed here (Micro rotary filter, sand scrubber, etc.) are to be found in the whole world.

“You are the 'Gyro Gearloose' from Bad Ischl, who continually questions the laws of physics”, a German business partner labelled the head of the company and its co-workers.

Zierler, with its inventions and innovativeness and to whose competence and wealth of experience one gladly falls back on, has become a big name in sewage engineering.

WKOÖ president KommR Dr. Rudolf Trauner used the impressive meeting as an opportunity to pay tribute to Franz Zierler with one of the highest honors of the Upper-Austrian Industry. For his services and his picture book career the innovative entrepreneur received the Öö. Industrial Medal.

Some business partners and friends used the opportunity to report on experiences of past cooperation and look forward to further joint efforts.

Visions:

With the entrance into process engineering in January 2007, the company made a further promising market break through: the custom-made production of waste/water management concepts and solutions.

25 Year know-how and experience in the local and industrial wastewater technology, pooled with basic chemical-physical knowledge are optimally used to meet the customer’s needs.

With the planning of a new workshop with 1200 m ², energetically supported by his wife Brigitte and his two sons Martin and Peter, Franz Zierler dares to take on the next operating extension in order to be able to fulfill all customer requests.

Anyone who knows the farsightedness and creativity and the innovative potential of ABZ Zierler, knows that this step will not be the last milestone in impressive company history.
“The first 25 years are already past and at least another 25 years are before us” Franz Zierler emphasized and could refer to his feeling of responsibility for fulltime employment for his co-workers.
