traveling rake screen Type ABZ-UR. 

Description:

The ABZ traveling rake screen is a bar rake, which combines the advantages of traveling rake screen systems with functional mechanics and with a 37 ° inclined exchangeable raking field,  to obtain the highest possible, free cross section flow.
 

Performance:

The wastewater flows through the bars of streamlined
stainless steel triangular profiles, holding the screenings back.
The solids are sent directly to
the channel bottom; and with the
rotating blades, they are
scraped and transported to the discharge area.  

Construction:

The conveyor chains with deflector, tension and drive unit are arranged In a self-supporting stainless steel construction, which is designed to swing out for maintenance. The less than 37 ° inclining field is a separate entity and therefore can be easily replaced. It consists of streamlined triangular profiles.
The scraper blades are mounted on the rotating conveyor chain, with selectable bar spacing for every application case. Guide rails prevent the evasion of the scraper blade.
The raking field is cleared continuously with the rotary scraper blades and so the screenings are transported to the discharge area. In the discharge area a scrapping mechanism driven by the rotating conveyor chain completely strips the screenings.

Because of its construction, traveling rake screen is not hindered by sand and gravel.

Above the channel, the unit is equipped with a
completely hygienic stainless steel encapsulation.

Construction and material

All parts (except engines, transmissions and parts that  for technical reasons, cannot be made of corrosion-resistant steel) are made of stainless steel V2A (1.4301).
