ABZ-Sand Washer ®
The patented ABZ sand washer was developed by us to be used for the treatment of sand catcher contents from local purification systems and is distributed by PWL Anlagentechnik Company.
In this procedure the sand is separated from organic components and thus meets the quality requirements of the Eluat category Ia (ÖNORM S2072) for building debris landfills, which numerous references show. The organic portion is under 2 %.
Thus you can reduce your disposal costs up to more than 90%!
Operation:
The pre-drained sand catcher contents arrive from the sand separators by a funnel into the agitator of the ABZ Sand washer. Feeding takes place continuously for even cleaning.
The agitator of the sand scrubber separates the components in a patented up flow procedure. The organic components are sent through the wear-resistant agitator fingers equipped agitator simultaneously with sand filled washing water, over a weir and is then returned to the clarifying process. The washed sand collects at the bottom of the washing tank and is carried out using a spiral conveyor.
Since a certain amount of sand remains at the bottom of the agitator washing tank, it acts as a filter to control outflow of contaminated sand.
Sand stick filled density and – discharge amounts can be adapted to the respective conditions. The sand catcher material output reaches up to 1.50 m ³ /h.

Construction and materials:
The entire construction consists of stainless steel 1,4301 (V2A), is welded under inert gas, stained and passivated. The spiral conveyor screw is constructed of special steel. The drive has the commercial standard of two coats of enamel.
