ABZ-Screenings Washing Systems

The patented screenings washing system which was developed by us is used for treatment of screenings and grit from local purification systems and is distributed by PWL Anlagentechnik company.

The screenings resulting from purification plant runs is submitted to a wash process with mechanically pre-purified wastewater. Here an 80% weight reduction of the raw screenings can be achieved and the solid content can be reduced by 45%.

 

Operation:

The screenings are pressed intermittently through a conveyer system, into the wash compressors - short IWV - and by means of a patented procedure are washed with industrial water (mechanically cleaned wastewater from sand catcher) without mechanical effect.
After the washing process the screenings arrive at the press zone and up to a solid content of approx. 50% is compacted and delivered.
The sieve is cleaned by an integrated spraying nozzle system without wear-susceptible brushes.
The loosened organic materials together with the washing water are again returned to the purification plant and/or returned.
The discharge pipe with integrated press zone adjustment can be equipped optionally with hygienic encapsulation.
 

Construction and materials:

The entire construction consists of stainless steel 1,4301 (V2A), is welded under inert gas, stained and passivated. The spiral conveyor is constructed of special steel. The drive has the commercial standard of two coats of enamel.
