Increasing wastewater costs place greater demands on in-plant sewage treatment.
The internally fed drum screen CenterFlow is a product designed to address many different tasks. It is intended for use in the solid-/liquid separation in process and wastewater in different industrial sectors or even in municipal sewage treatment plants.
Function
The core of the CenterFlow is the robust sieve drum. Here the particles to be separated are held back and gently dewatered. In the inlet pipe of the machine the inflowing media is homogenized and the flow rate reduced. The tangential inflowing screening surface effectively fine screens even excessive hydraulic loads. The configuration of the drum depends on the functional necessity of either fast discharge of the solids and/or the slow passage through the drum if the retained solids are to be additionally washed or well drained.
At a steady speed and low drive power, the drum screen CenterFlow is a reliable component in the operating plant. The ease of use and the large number of available options open up a wide range of individual applications.
